I'm Angela B., the breeder behind Grasslands Aussies located in Strasburg, CO. Hello, my husband and I live in eastern Colorado where we have raised 6 children and now have 6 grandchildren. We enjoyed raising toy australian shepherds when our children where growing up and decided to start our breeding program again. We live on 2.5 acres where our 3 mini aussies love to run.

    Out of the love for the breed, wanted to continue to breed the standard qualities into the mini australian shehpherd
  • What makes your program special?

    Our dogs are part of the family and the puppies are raised with lots of socializing with adults, children, and seniors.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include blue merle, black tri, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include between $900 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • Hyperuricosuria (HUU), Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Canine Multifocal Retinopathy (cmr3; BEST1 Exon 10 SNP)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
