Meet the breeder

I'm Ella G., the breeder behind Gray Kennels Rottweilers located in Houston, TX.

Q. & A. with Ella

  • Why did you start breeding?

My muse was my first Rottweiler that I got. I rescued him from someone getting drafted from the military and I absolutely fell in love with him, the breed. He was everything I wanted in a dog but unfortunately he had a lot of medical issues. So my goal is produce healthy Rottweilers and better the breed in anyway I can.
  • What makes your program special?

I don’t focus on just looks or aesthetics, I focus on health and longevity. I take my time with every single dog, puppy in my program pulling them to their greatest potential.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and rust and black and mahogany. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
