Tomye was a great breeder to work with. She kept me constantly updated about the puppy & her health. She also sent weekly videos so we could see her grow. We are truly blessed to have Nevaeh in our life. ~Lindsey & Noel~

I was new to Good Dog and not sure how things worked or what kind of experience to expect. It could not have been better. From the moment I contacted Tomye, she was kind, informative, and patient. She sent updates about Ripley (formerly Aubri) complete with videos. She worked with us to arrange an alternate date for pickup and when she handed the puppy over to me…wow! I am blown away with how cute, sweet, smart, energetic, and healthy this little girl is. I’m just sorry I didn’t get one of her siblings!

Tomye was very responsive and knowledgeable of the breed! Our drive to pick up Finnegan, now Goose :) was very pleasant and getting to chat with Tomye before taking our pup home was very reassuring. Goose is the sweetest boy and exactly what we were looking for! We look forward to hopefully working with Tomye in the future if we decide to get another pup!

We had a great experience with Good Dog and Tomye. She helped arrange transport of our puppy and sent a blanket with Momma's scent that really eased first night's anxiety. Our puppy is a joy .

We had a great experience working with Tomye to bring home our Anchovy (originally George; parents Dahlia and Blitz) and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a miniature dachshund. She was very responsive to our questions, and it was clear she is extremely knowledgeable about dachshund genetics and health. She was also very transparent and happy to provide information we requested, including genetic health testing for Anchovy’s parents. That gave us a lot of confidence that she takes breeding seriously and cares about the long term health of her dogs. Before Anchovy was ready to come home, Tomye regularly sent pupdates with photos, videos and little updates on how he was doing, which made the wait much more fun. Now that Anchovy is home with us, we couldn’t be happier. He has a wonderful temperament and is such a sweet, confident little dog. It was obvious right away that he had great early socialization and was raised in a caring environment. We’re very grateful to Tomye for raising such an amazing puppy. Anchovy is a perfect addition to our family.

Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
