I'm Stephanie T., the breeder behind Greatest Journey Ranchette located in Golden Valley, AZ. My focus has always been on quality, care, and a true love for dachshunds. I raise long & smooth Dachshund pups in a variety of colors and patterns. Each puppy is well-socialized, loved, and raised to be smart, healthy, and ready to bring lasting joy and companionship to their forever homes.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I got into breeding after meeting my first doxie when we got married, and it was love at first sight. Their personality, loyalty, and charm completely won me over. From that moment on, I knew they’d always be part of my life. I truly believe everyone should have one (or twelve!) dachshunds in their lives, and that passion is what led me to start raising these amazing dogs.

  • What makes your program special?

    What makes my breeding program special is simple: my dogs are my family first and always. They live with us their entire lives, not just for breeding. I only raise a few carefully planned litters each year, focusing on health, temperament, and love. It’s never about quantity—only quality, devotion, and giving each puppy the best possible start in life and a lasting foundation centered on love.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and longhaired coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include piebald, red, fawn (isabella) and tan, chocolate and tan, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Stephanie

Stephanie has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Stephanie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Matching puppies with their families is one of the most important parts of my program. I take time to understand each puppy’s personality, needs, and temperament, as well as each family’s lifestyle and expectations. Puppies are never placed randomly—they only go to homes where I feel there is a true, lasting fit. My goal is to ensure every puppy is set up for a happy, secure life where both puppy and family thrive together.”

Price

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $2,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies are raised for confidence and temperament. Price includes dew claw removal, first vaccines, a vet visit, and puppy socialization. Each puppy is given time and care for a healthy start in life. A $100 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your specific puppy and is applied toward the total price. Deposits are required for all puppies.”

Stephanie may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
