Meet the breeder

I'm Carol S., the breeder behind Green Mountain Kennel located in Woodland, WA. What started as a love for our own family pets grew into a passion to share this special breed with others. They have room to run and are handled daily We take great pride in matching each puppy with the right family There's nothing more rewarding than hearing from happy families years later.

Q. & A. with Carol

  • Why did you start breeding?

We loved the breed so much we decided we had to share their wonder with others. When my male Wheaten stud passed away of old age, we needed a good stud. This is how we ended up breeding Whoodles, I friend of mine had a wonderful Poodle and decided to give it a try.
  • What makes your program special?

Our goal is to raise healthy, happy puppies with wonderful temperaments that transition smoothly into their forever homes. They receive plenty of love, handling, and individual attention from day one. They are socialized with children, adult dogs, and everyday household noise to grow into confident, affectionate companions.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Poodle puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier puppies are wheaten. Poodle puppies are red. Whoodle puppies include wheaten, red, brown, and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
