I'm Samantha M., the breeder behind Green River Ranch Border Collies located in Helena, MT. We raise working and sports line ABCA Border Collies. We breed both to provide families with loving and capable companions and to improve upon our dogs' fantastic traits with each generation.

Samantha has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

“Our prices are firm, we do not breed or sell for color, every dog is placed based off of drive so color is the very last thing we look at. $1000 Regardless of sex or color. To protect people who know they want a puppy from a particular breeding, or any breeding and just want to secure a puppy, I am accepting $500 non-refundable deposits on my puppies. When I say non-refundable, if a person has me hold a slot for them and then change their mind, I will not refund their deposit. Backing out at that point leaves me with the task of finding a perfect home for a puppy in a short period of time. The deposit is an insurance policy for getting a puppy.”
Samantha may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Samantha offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Samantha directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Samantha.

About Opal
This young lady is our first breeding. She has a mountain of talent, natural style, and a I don't want to stop drive. She is reading and rating her stock amazingly. She has always been a more independent personality, not much of a chewer as a puppy unless it was my military clothing, left to close to her kennel. She has been quick to catch on, but she tests those limits. She for sure is a dog that will be bomb proof once she is a finished dog, I am excited for both our continued competition's in the trial ring, and our first planned litter.

About Kimber
GW Kimber was bred by Go West Border Collies in Helena, MT. Her parents work cattle, sheep, goats, ducks, and even rabbits. She showed interest as a young dog but then got put in a situation that broke her confidence and she really doesn't want to work. It's still there but she doesn't trust people enough to want to do it. Kimber is a medium coat and will only genetically produce medium coats. Kimber is an emotional support dog, has high energy (as is to be expected from a Border Collie), high toy drive, and an amazing off switch. She loves her kids and will do anything for them.
