I'm Emily M., the breeder behind Green Valley Aussies located in South Jordan, UT. The puppies we produce here at Green Valley Aussies are a huge part of our life. When purchasing a dog from us, you become part of our “family.” We are here 100% of the way and willing to answer any questions you may have about your dog for its entire lifetime. We strive to socialize our puppies while they are in our home.
Q. & A. with Emily
Why did you start breeding?
My background is in horses and Australian Shepherds are very common in the equine industry! However, most Aussies have a very strong herding drive and it made it hard to have them as ranch dogs. So I started raising show line Australian Shepherds that didn’t have as strong of a herding drive!
What makes your program special?
All of our clients are like family! I contact them on a very regular basis and stay very close in touch with everyone. We have meetups all over the nation every year!
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Miniature American Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
