I'm Leko M., the breeder behind Grimmly Blue’s Shih Tzus located in Statesville, NC. We selectively breed for health & temperament. We offer healthy, loving pups to carefully chosen homes. We’re proud of our pups! Our mothers and fathers are our babies first and foremost. Their puppies are raised in our home and are being loved like our own while being prepared for their new homes.

Why did you start breeding?
We have always loved the Shih Tzu breed. We were so smitten by our own pups, we knew we wanted to share them with others who would love them just as much. It is such a joy to set the foundation of our puppies' lives.What makes your program special?
Every step of the breeding process is crucial to the well-being of the dog, and we do not cut corners. We go above and beyond for every dog, puppy, and litter as a whole in our breeding program.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black, liver, and gold. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Leko
Leko has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $600 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Final price will depend on gender, color, size and will be determined as colors come in after 2-4 weeks. Lavender puppies will range from $1850-2500 (depending on size & gender) as they are rare. The deposit guarantees your puppy of choice, dependent upon availability. $400 non-refundable deposit required to hold puppy.”

Leko may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
