I'm Carissa G., the breeder behind Guiley Doxies located in Silverdale, WA. Our breeding program is intentionally small and fully in-home. Our dogs are first and foremost our family pets, raised with love. We are deeply committed to ethical breeding practices, health testing, and improving the breed while preserving the traits that make Dachshunds so special.

Why did you start breeding?
I grew up with a mom who bread and raised schnauzers. Seeing the care, responsibility, and joy that came with raising puppies made a lasting impression on me. When we became a dachshund family 13 years ago, I fell head over heals for this breed. I knew that I eventually I would have a breeding program. And the journey has been very rewarding.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because it’s built on experience, intention, and heart. Our dogs live as cherished family members in our home. With a foundation in ethical breeding from childhood, we focus on health, temperament, and thoughtful genetic pairings to help improve the breed.
What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, red, chocolate, and black and cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Carissa

Carissa has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $2,200 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
