I'm Heather D., the breeder behind Guntown Aussies located in Washington County, PA. My program is built upon a foundation of love and commitment to this breed. Australian Shepherds are my passion, and I am devoted to doing whatever I can to preserve, protect, and improve them all the while providing companionship for other loving homes.   • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved dogs and was excited to establish my breeding program. I have enjoyed the journey, and I am a proud breeder with a focus on temperament and the overall mental and physical health of my puppies. I am passionate about placing happy, healthy puppies with loving families.
  • What makes your program special?

    I am passionate about Aussies, and my love for these dogs shines through in every aspect of my program. I take great care with each breeding to ensure I am producing puppies that are excellent representations of the breed with a focus on health, temperament, and pedigree. I have high expectations for my puppies and strive to place each one in an enriching and loving home!

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
