I'm Alisa H., the breeder behind Hampton Border Collies located in Jonesboro, AR. It has always been my passion to raise smart, loving, and loyal puppies. Our dogs are ABCA registered, genetically tested, and have incredible bloodlines. This is where amazing temperament, intelligence, and beauty meet! Puppies are re-homed with limited registration unless otherwise discussed beforehand.
Q. & A. with Alisa
Why did you start breeding?
I had several full and mixed bred dogs growing up, but my first border collie spoiled me. It's been said that I love anything w fur and 4 legs...that's true. Saying that, there's no animal like a border collie. Smart, loyal, active, and BEAUTIFUL are just a few of the qualities these creatures have. I knew from an early age (when my toy poodle had a litter w a neighborhood dog 😳) that I would want to raise pups one day. Little did I know, my first bc lit that fire and my buyers have been nothing but supportive. Absolutely LOVE what I do with the most amazing dogs and new friends I'm able to make along the journey.
What makes your program special?
I truly love the Border Collie breed and am dedicated to looking out for the breed as a whole. We are a selective program that focuses on temperament and drive. We are breeding to produce happy and healthy puppies that can continue to excel in their new homes.
What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, blue merle, red merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Trapped Neutrophil Syndrome, Cohen Syndrome (TNS), PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, Neuronal Ceroid Lipofuscinosis 5 (NCL5), Border Collie Type, GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing, Animal Genetics Panel
