I'm Hannah and David D., the breeder behind Hannah & David's Australian Shepherds located in Tulare, CA. All of our dogs are loved as family members. We cherish our puppies from birth up until they leave our arms to snuggle into yours! The sweet, loyal, and playful disposition of our dogs inspired us to begin responsibly breeding to expand the breed and share them with others.

Our dogs are part of our family as our pets as well as working dogs in our family dairy farm. They are very smart, athletic, and in excellent health. We want to share this special breed with others and hope they enjoy them as much as we do! Our dogs are double papered with both AKC and ASCA.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Sola is a sweet, loving, working dog. She enjoys working on the dairy farm herding cattle. She loves snuggles. Playing with our 2 young boys is one of her favorite pastimes. She is a wonderful mom to her puppies and diligently cares for them. She is ASCA and AKC certified. She is in process of completing all her OFA health testing. She has completed her DNA health testing.

Chip is a fun, strong, smart dog. He is AKC and ASCA certified. He is a working dog and regularly herds cattle at the dairy farm. He does great with other dogs, people, and kids. He loves learning new tricks and commands.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, DNA Profile, Animal Genetics Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Hi Hanna and David. A week after we picked up Meika, we went on vacation and took her to a trainers/boarders home for 2 weeks. When we got back home she was crate trained, potty trained but ringing a chime on the door when she needs to go out, she can sit, come (still needs work), shake, lay down and has started rolling over. The trainer rates all of the dogs she watches on a scale from 1-20 based on smartness, personality, leader of the pack, etc. She said Meika is the only dog she has ever given a 20/20. We love her so much. From the time we picked her up, she has brought us so much joy. Our experience with you was excellent and we are really happy!

We have recently purchased a puppy from David and Hannah, and we have been so impressed and grateful for their professionalism, responsiveness and their kind and friendly approach! They were quick to reply to all of our questions and it was very easy to work out logistics and arrange the puppy pick up with them. They were also very accommodating in allowing us to meet the puppies' mum and dad (both of whom are really beautiful, calm, friendly family and active working dogs). Chip and Sola were great dogs and excellent parents to the litter. The puppies are all in great condition, incredibly cute, being completely socialised with cats, kittens and 3 young kids (just what we needed!) and they have been expertly house trained! We have had ours for 4 days and she was immediately crate trained and house trained. Hannah and David were great people, who clearly care a great deal for their pets, we couldn't be happier and strongly recommend them to other potential buyers.

I’m so glad i was able to find Hannah and david after couple of scammers.I really appreciate their patience with me,they answered all my questions (many questions) and they were always available .it was such an easy and smooth process with them.Also I’m really thankful that they let me to hanged around and play with my puppy’s family🐾🐶:) and their sweet boys.I picked up my puppy (girl#3)on July 3th.she’s with me for 3 weeks but feels like we’ve been together forever.I’m in awe of how smart she’s.she was fully potty trained after 3 days and by now she knows almost 10 commands.My baby is so sweet and loving.I really appreciate them for helping me to find my forever fur baby 💐
