I'm Alicia L., the breeder behind Happy Valley Farms located in Elkton, KY. We are lifelong dog enthusiasts, and we’re excited to share our passion and purpose with others through our breeding program. We do our best to breed with total care by primarily focusing on raising healthy, affectionate, and loyal companions. As a result of our efforts, we’re positive our puppies will become perfect family members and add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

Why did you start breeding?
My daughter Caitlin (brown dress in pic) actually started the business when seeking direction for a career after highschool. She couldn't decide what direction to go and I encouraged her to choose something she was passionate about. Being a lover of large dogs since she was small, thus our breeding program was born.What makes your program special?
Caitlin married and moved to AZ this year so I have taken over the program. I've considerably downsized but will still continue to bring you the great quality of dogs and customer service you've always appreciated through Caitlin!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Australian Shepherd puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Alicia
Alicia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“$1500 is the pet only price (limited registration), $2000 is the price with breeding rights (full registration to approved breeders only).”

Alicia may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
