I'm Brooke L., the breeder behind Harlequins Shih Tzu located in Cordova, MD. We offer well-rounded, healthy, Shih Tzu puppies who will excel in any adventure with their new family! Our dogs are intelligent, loving, and athletic, and they produce puppies who will thrive in many different lifestyles. We're passionate about these dogs and are careful to breed and raise our pups with love. Please know our puppies and dogs are not registered they are pet quality only. We understand some owners may dislike this decision but our beautiful puppies and their amazing personalities we feel don’t require it. We rarely breed and proved as healthy vet checked puppies and with 20 plus years of breeding and our dna policy have never had a puppy returned for a health reason we strive to have an amazing puppy for our amazing families so we do not guarantee our babies. Most of our puppies have returning families and often are spoke for quickly. Please as you search for your new addition make note of this before applying. We look forward to helping you be placed with one of our pups for years and years of memories.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I used to show dogs years ago and just adore providing well balanced pets into homes that adore them just as much as we do.

  • What makes your program special?

    We are small and hands on. All puppies are raised underfoot and held daily. They live in our home with us as well as our retired females.

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Brooke

“Shih Tzus were created to LOVE so the process for picking a baby comes down to if a new puppy parent wants a little boy or a little girl. Their personalities are generally the same either sex. In this particular litter the colors are gold (their darker features will lighten and fade as they age) some may have a black mask that comes more apparent as they age. We have one that will be gold and white parti marked that is a male. ”

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,900 - $2,200 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Puppies receive first vaccine, well puppy exam, socialization, and puppy pad training. We can be slightly flexible with families based on their budget so please reach out. $300.00 non-refundable deposit to hold a puppy. We do not register many owners do not request the registration so we do not register our babies or adults.”
