I'm Monica H., the breeder behind Harrington Doodles & Poodles located in Jasper, GA. Owners are Teresa Harrington, and Monica Harrington. We started a small family business breeding golden doodles in 2021. We believe everyone should have the privilege of owning a loving, healthy companion without the worry of health issues . Our dogs are Embark Tested and clear. We currently have 3 standard poodles, one golden doodle, and 1 Labrador .

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We discussed breeding our golden retriever "BANDIT", to keep his bloodline in our family. He was an exceptional dog. We decided we would love to share his temperament, and also have the hypoallergenic feature of poodles. Therefore, we decided on golden doodles. It is a huge commitment, and a lot of work, but we love providing healthy puppies to new homes. Our current mom, Kona, is Bandits daughter.

  • What makes your program special?

    All our dogs, and puppies are our family pets. They are raised in our home so they are constantly surrounded by children, friends, and grandparents. They are well adjusted, loved, and cared for. We send our puppies home with CKC registration, UTD on vaccines, dewormed, one year health guarantee, and clean bill of health from our veterinarian. We are alway available if our new families need support. We actually put a lot of money into our dogs and puppies to ensure they remain healthy. We also take extra steps to ensure everyone is genetically tested before reproducing.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies are standard size. Goldendoodle puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Poodle puppies include black, white, and parti. Goldendoodle puppies include chocolate, black, and parti. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Monica

Monica has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Monica partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,300 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    We had an absolutely wonderful experience purchasing our 8-week-old standard poodle from Monica with Harrington Doodles & Poodles. Monica went above and beyond by meeting us halfway, which we truly appreciated, and she gave us a thorough rundown on our new puppy, along with some food to help with the transition and all the necessary records.
