  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our love for dachshunds began with our first family pet, whose quirky charm and boundless affection captured our hearts. We wanted to share this joy with others, leading us to start breeding in 2020. Breeding these wonderful dogs allows us to connect families with happy, healthy puppies raised in our loving home, bringing the same happiness we've experienced to others.

    At Harris Hugs and Wiener Wiggles, we focus on personalized care and quality over quantity, ensuring each puppy receives individual attention and affection. Our dogs are family first, and our program is dedicated to producing well-bred, healthy, and well-socialized puppies in a loving family environment.

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

    Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable, cream, red, black, black and cream, black and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

Getting a puppy from Harris Hugs

Harris Hugs has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"All our puppies come de-wormed and UTD on shots, with shot record, AKC Pre-Registration, puppy care package, and a lifetime return/rehoming policy. Upon completion of AKC Registration they receive 1 month of health insurance as well! *Full AKC Registration Rights (breeding rights) Available at Discretion of Breeder, for an additional fee*. The deposit ensures the buyer a specific puppy, which will be ready for pick-up at 8 weeks of age. If the Buyer changes their mind and decides not to purchase the puppy, the deposit is non-refundable. The deposit will be applied to the final purchase price of the puppy."
