I'm Jennifer H., the breeder behind Hartsells Retrievers located in Junction City, OR. Established in 2012, located in Junction City, Oregon. Our labs are AKC/UKC Registered and health tested. Our bloodlines include Performance, Conformation and Companion titles. Our dogs are not only our hunting companions and hiking partners they are part of our family. The goal at Hartsell Retrievers is to produce and pair well bred, healthy retrievers with their perfect family.

About Attie
Attie is short, stocky and curious. She loves retrieving for birds is sweet natured with a heart of gold. She has a moderate energy level, she can turn it on when we are retrieving birds and will turn it off when we are in the house relaxing. She has the iconic otter tail and thick double coat that the labradors breed is known for.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
D Locus (Dilute) DNA test, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC), Centronuclear Myopathy (CNM)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
