What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Golden Retriever puppies include golden and light golden. Labrador Retriever puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from Heather
Heather has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Heather partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“We take care in placing puppies with the right families. Retrievers make great farm or family dogs. They are highly intelligent and easy to train. Please keep in mind that these are high energy dogs and need mental stimulation and exercise regularly. ”
Price
“The price of puppy includes first vet visit and first round of puppy shots/dewormer. All puppies will go home with a goody bag including health record, food, treats, and a toy. I require a $100 "waste my time" deposit! (Sounds silly, but there is a reason for it). I spend an enormous amount of time updating families on their new puppy by sending pictures, video, and answering any questions and concerns they may have. This is extremely time consuming, especially when I sometimes have multiple litters! I am happy to hold a puppy of your choice. This is a non-refundable deposit. If you don't show up at the agreed upon time/date or back out, your deposit is forfeited. I understand that life happens and things come up sometimes, but my time is important!”

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
