Stephanie H.

Breeder of Bernedoodles

Meet the breeder

I'm Stephanie H., the breeder behind Hatchadoodles of North Carolina, LLC located in Walkertown, NC. We are a small in-home breeder. Our dogs are bred for companionship. Health and temperament are a top priority. Education of breed is also important to make sure owners are prepared. We start the crate training process. We do NOT-guarantee coat color, just unconditional love. You become family.

Q. & A. with Stephanie

  • Why did you start breeding?

I am a retired nurse who wanted to continue my caring nature through something I loved. I did a ton of research and asked a lot of questions. The joy these pups give me and finding them the right homes is indescribable. My family member is also a reputable breeder of 20 years and is always there when I need her.
  • What makes your program special?

Have an amazing home built whelping and play/education area for our Mom’s and puppies. We start the crate training process for you. Introduce stairs and plenty of socialization. We screen our breeding dogs not only for health but temperament and ability to learn. We now have 4 breeding females and 1 male that reside with us so can spend lots of time with our loved ones. We educate our potential buyers on the full grooming and behaviors to expect in our breed. We do not abandon you once you receive a pup. We become a family. We offer a 1-year health guarantee.
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, black and white, tri-color, and phantom. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
