  • Why did you start breeding?

    My passion for breeding Havanese began with my mom, who has dedicated over a decade to this amazing breed. Growing up, I learned the love, care, and responsibility it takes to raise happy, healthy puppies. At Havanese Acres, we continue this journey by OFA health testing all parents, preserving the breed’s integrity, and ensuring each puppy embodies the Havanese charm and spirit.

    Our breeding program is special because we prioritize health, temperament, and breed integrity. We ensure all parent dogs undergo OFA health testing to guarantee healthy puppies. We focus on preserving the Havanese breed's natural qualities—playfulness, affection, and hypoallergenic coats—while raising our puppies in a loving, family-oriented environment to ensure they are ready for forever home!

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and white, red, chocolate, black, and red sable. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

    Working with Teresa at Havanese Acres was such a blessing. From the very start, she was so informative and helpful. Any and all questions were promptly answered. The litter of pups from momma Coco were so beautiful and it was so hard to choose just one. Once the pups were born, pictures and videos were on the website so one could see the puppies at play. Once we chose our pup, we could not have been better informed leading up to the day we received our puppy. A designated place, convenient for all, was made to receive our puppy. Teresa had all the paperwork in a folder with copies of everything for us. She also had play toys, food and blanket for our baby girl. We couldn't have asked for better support! I highly recommend Havanese Acres. You will be so happy with your pup and working with Teresa.
