Meet the breeder

I'm Chrystine T., the breeder behind Hawaii Australian Shepherds located in Hawaii. We are a simple, family-run breeding program offering loving and loyal companions to others. We focus on quality care and health with each litter we raise.

Q. & A. with Chrystine

  • Why did you start breeding?

It is our goal to bring more opportunities for Hawaii families to welcome this wonderful breed of dog into their lives as a family pet. We seek to make the process as accessible and affordable as possible. We promise to never over breed our females or breed them past a safe age. We are committed to proper record keeping, paperwork, and educating families on how to prepare for their new puppy.
  • What makes your program special?

We use the Puppy Culture protocol for raising, and also desensitization methods so puppies are not fearful as they encounter new sounds and sights. All our dogs are DNA tested and of sound genetics and traits. For our family, raising pups is a hobby and not a full time job. We carve out a large part of our time to responsibly raise a litter of pups.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
