Why did you start breeding?
We got into breeding out of a genuine need in the field. English Cocker Spaniels became a natural fit for our program due to their adaptability, endurance, and ability to hunt effectively in demanding conditions while staying connected to the handler. What started as hunting behind great dogs turned into a desire to preserve and produce them.What makes your program special?
Our background in hunting and dog work guides every decision we make—from the dogs hunt behind to the dogs we choose to breed. We believe a great upland dog is built in the home first and our breeding program reflects a commitment to functionality, and preserving the working ability of the English Cocker Spaniel for South Texas and beyond.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include black white and tan, lemon and white, red and white, black and white, black, liver, red, and red roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), Chondrodystrophy and IVDD Risk (CDDY-IVDD), Acral Mutilation Syndrome (AMS), Familial Nephropathy, Cocker Spaniel Type, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Exercise Induced Collapse (EIC)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
