I'm Nikki H., the breeder behind Hawkins Working Australian Shepherds located in Lewisburg, TN. Our breeding goals are to produce healthy life long working partners with a high level of drive and working instinct for both your farm and your family. We focus on breeding Australian Shepherds that are biddable, intelligent and capable of competing in multiple areas of work and competition.

    We offer limited breeding of premier working Australian Shepherd lines. Our working Australian Shepherd puppies includes multiple Hall of Fame Dogs that would be recognized and appreciated by those who know lineages.

Getting a puppy from Nikki

Nikki has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Nikki partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $350 non-refundable deposit and $750 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes tails docked, vacinnations, worming, and socialization. The puppies are able to be registered with ASCA and AKC (by the new owners). All puppies are the same price regardless of color, sex or size.”

Contract & health guarantee

Nikki may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
