I've been wanting to leave a review for a while now; trying to find all the right words, but the truth is, there's just not enough good things I could possibly say about Jes, HCR, and her dogs/puppies (but I'll try). From the very first message, to texts back and forth after purchasing our puppy, she's been nothing but helpful. Quick to respond, answering every question and then some. Sending pictures, videos, health and development updates. My husband and I had lost our previous Dane (different breeder) due to complications of mega esophagus. We were heartbroken. When we decided it was time to add another Dane into our lives, we started researching and messaging several breeders near and far. We were very impressed with the ad/listing Jes had posted. After reaching out to her, we knew this was the breeder we wanted to work with, and I'm so glad we did! With the exception of our last Great Dane, who came from a local breeder, all of our other pets have been adopted from nearby shelters. We were a little apprehensive about buying a puppy several hours away, and unsure how the process of purchasing and pick-up worked. Jes made everything so easy, and helped us every step of the way. She was very accommodating, making sure she was available the day and time we could make the drive out there. When we first got there, we were greeted by several impressive dogs. It was clear they were all happy, and well taken care of; living their best lives. She was gracious enough to invite us into her home. Letting us meet her family, both human and dog. As for the puppy we brought home, I'm literally crying typing this review, thinking about how happy we are with her. We're so appreciative of all the care and hard work that went into the breeding of and upbringing of these puppies. Making sure they're healthy, well adjusted, and giving them such a great headstart on life in preparation to go to their forever homes. Even our vet, who sees a lot of dogs and puppies, couldn't stop talking about what a great example of this breed our puppy is, in both appearance and personality. We couldn't agree more. We're so happy with our puppy. If you're lucky enough to find yourself in the position to buy a dog from Jes, do it! You won't be disappointed. I can't recommend Jes and her HCR pups enough!

Kora (or Mushroom), is my 2nd dane and my first one from Jes at HCR. I put a lot of thought and time into finding a reputable breeder and couldn’t be more grateful to have met her. Becoming Kora’s mom has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. It is IMPOSSIBLE not to love her. She is so brave, eager to learn, the best cuddle buddy, and so so gentle (even by puppy standards!). Everyone meets her and immediately comments on what a sweetheart she is. Jes has made this process so easy, and is always quick to respond to any tiny concern, question, or even Kora update I have for her. You can genuinely tell that she has such a love for this breed and the dogs that she helped raise, even when they’re miles away. I love being able to share my excitement with her on Kora’s milestones, and couldn’t feel more blessed that I came across her profile. I would 100% get another dog from Jes in the future, and have already bragged on her to so many other people who have fallen in love with Danes because of Kora. Jes, thank you for gifting me with my bestfriend!
