This is such a fun time with these pups ! They are getting more curious about their surroundings and love attention:) They are still getting fed from mama but not as often as they start to transition to solid food. They are enjoying different textured toys and are getting used to a variety of surfaces and noises. They will be ready to go home in 2 weeks ! 😊

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Cathy and Doug at Hearth and Hound Doodles! We brought our sweet boy, Churchwell, home just a week ago, and we are already so impressed. From the very beginning, it was obvious that Cathy and Doug go above and beyond to prepare each puppy for life with their forever family. The love, time, and dedication they pour into their puppies is truly remarkable. They work with them every single day on potty training, crate training, socialization, confidence, and so much more. It is a true testament to the care and effort they invest in every puppy they raise, and it makes the transition into their new home so smooth and enjoyable. Churchwell is such a happy, confident little boy, and we know that’s because of the incredible foundation Cathy and Doug gave him. They genuinely care about giving every puppy the very best start in life, and it shows in every way. If you’re looking for a breeder who loves their dogs like family and is deeply committed to raising happy, well-adjusted puppies, you simply won’t find anyone more caring than Cathy and Doug at Hearth and Hound Doodles. We are so grateful for them and couldn’t recommend them more highly! Curtis and Lori Hayden

I had an amazing experience with Doug & Cathy! They were professional, responsive, and clearly passionate about their dogs. Our pup Milo is with us for almost a month now and what really stood out was how well-socialized and healthy he is! He’s calm but a confident and happy dog! It’s clear they put a lot of care into early development and proper breeding practices. The transition home was smooth, and they even sent us home with a helpful starter kit and detailed health records. We couldn’t be happier with our experience and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable, caring, and ethical breeder. Thank you for bringing such joy into our lives!

Cathy is wonderful to work with! She is responsive, knowledgeable and is always available to answer questions. I had lost an aussiedoodle one month prior and she was compassionate and caring about the pup I was asking her about and my late pal. We picked up our wittle guy, our Mini Cooper, on April 9. I had questions that evening and she was just as great as our previous interactions! Cooper is well adjusted, fun, playful and loving. He had his initial puppy visit with our local veterinarian who said we have a very healthy puppy. Thanks again Hearth and Hounds xoxo

If you are considering bringing a new puppy into your home and want the absolute best start possible, look no further than Cathy and Doug at Hearth & Hound Doodles. From the very first interaction, it was clear that we were in the hands of breeders who truly care, not just about their puppies, but about the families who receive them. Cathy and Doug were incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, answering every question we had quickly and thoroughly, which made what can sometimes be a nerve-wracking experience feel exciting and reassuring. No question felt too small, and their warmth and knowledge shone through every conversation. But what truly sets Hearth & Hound Doodles apart is the extraordinary amount of work they invest in preparing their puppies for life in a family home. Our sweet girl Kaiya arrived having already begun potty training and crate training, a gift that any new puppy parent will understand is absolutely invaluable. She had been lovingly introduced to children and other dogs, and had been so thoughtfully socialized that she fit into our family as though she had always been here. Cathy and Doug also took the time to handle and stimulate Kaiya in all the right ways. We can touch her ears, hold her paws, and look at her teeth without even a hint of resistance, a testament to the gentle, intentional work they put into each and every puppy they raise. These are the kinds of foundations that make veterinary visits, grooming, and daily life so much easier, and it is clear that Cathy and Doug think about all of it. Kaiya is happy, confident, and so well-adjusted and that doesn’t happen by accident. It happens because of breeders who are deeply committed to setting their puppies up for success with their new owners. If you are on the fence, let this be the review that makes your decision easy. You will not find a more caring, dedicated, or thorough team than Cathy and Doug. We are forever grateful for our perfect girl, and we could not be happier.

Doug and Cathy were absolutely amazing to work with! I had never used good dog before, so I was a little apprehensive, but Doug and Cathy made me feel so comfortable and easily gained my trust. They sent daily updates with pictures up until the day that I got Winnie. They are very prompt in responding and making sure I had all the information I needed to bring her home. When it came time to pick her up, Doug and Cathy were very accommodating with pick ups and meeting at a time that worked with my schedule. They even helped crate train so when I got her, crating her at night was a breeze and super easy which was SO appreciated! Winnie is a beautiful dog and I hope to work with them again in the future!

Their communication was great throughout the process—I especially appreciated the regular updates and photos, which made the wait so much more exciting and reassuring. You can tell they genuinely care about their pups and the families they go to. I absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a well-loved and well-raised puppy!
