I'm Teresa J., the breeder behind Heartland small breeds located in Douglas, GA. We are dedicated to providing families with wonderful loving and healthy pets. We bred for temperament and health. Our fur babies are raised in doors and are part of out family.

Why did you start breeding?
I got in to breeding years ago, because I love animals. They bring lots of joy to my life and I wanted to share that with other people. Dogs are your best friend and make you fill so loved they need you as much as you need them.What makes your program special?
Love and care for each dog and puppy . We treat them as their our children because they are. We put a lot of time and attention into each one.What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Poodle puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our Pomeranian puppies include cream, black, and cream sable. Yorkshire Terrier puppies are black and tan. Poodle puppies are white. Biewer Terrier puppies are black tan and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Litter update on 21 Nov. •…Puppies are growing teeth are starting to come in. Very playful and loves to be talk to. They all like a bath but not so much the blow dryer but will get use to it. Mom is doing a great job taking care of them.

Working with Heartland Small Breeds was a great experience. From the moment we placed our deposit, Teresa worked hard to find ways to get us to bond across the miles with our new puppy. When my husband picked up our puppy, she came with a thoughtful care package prepared by Teresa for the 4 hour ride to her forever home. Our puppy already knew the name we gave her when we got her. Teresa did a fantastic job accurately describing her personality. One deeply appreciated element in this experience is how balanced our puppy is with being independent but also loving. She is very content laying down to sleep on the floor without cuddling but also loves to curl up and sleep in our arms. She doesn't fear being alone or display any kind of separation anxiety. We're so thankful for the easy and positive experience we had with Heartland Small Breeds. We would love to adopt from Teresa again!
