I'm Heidi G., the breeder behind Heavenly Shelties located in Kaycee, WY. I breed Shetland Sheepdogs for temperament, companionship, and quality. I have been doing this for about 13 years now. They are raised in my home with love and care. I try to keep my prices low so more people can have a Sheltie of their own to love.

Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding when my daughter joined 4-H. We purchased her a bi-black Sheltie pup she named Pepsi. As she progressed in the Dog Classes we had many people ask what breed she was and where to get one. I saw a need and began to fill that need.What makes your program special?
I breed my dogs for temperament and personality first, health a super close second, and conformation next. I know that it is supposed to be " to better the breed" but most dogs are going to family who want a healthy pet, not a show dog. That is why the family pet buyer is who I aim to please.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white, white blue merle, sable and white, blue merle white and tan, blue merle and white, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Heidi partners with them to find the best puppy match.

"The price includes hind dewclaw removal, first shots, a play toy, a birth certificate, and ACK registration if available. Deposites are non-refundable except for death or medical issues. Deposite can be transferred from pup to pup."

Roxie came to me as a three year old, after her owner no longer wanted a male I had sold to her. I took both dogs. She is a joy to have! She loves kids, other dogs, and going anywhere with us. She is wicked smart and would have made a great livestock dog. Her parents are AKC registered, but I got no paperwork with her, so she is not registered. She will health tested this year.

Lilly is a cute little lady. She is about 13 inches at the shoulder and very shy. She is getting to be a lap dog though and loving it. She is ok with kids, and great with other dogs. Her first litter she didn't like or care for, but her second litter she has been a great mom. Due to a transfer issue with her dam, she and her brother Jasper are not registered.

Banshee is a nervous girl, but has settled down since her second litter of puppies. She learns quick, is great with kids and other dogs, and is loving. Banshee is clear on her health testing from Wisdom. She is a good mom and has great pups.

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, von Willebrand Disease III (vWD III), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA), Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
