I'm Kathleen G., the breeder behind Henderson Hill Australian Shepherds located in Kensington, OH. Having a dog in our lives is such a blessing. We find so much fulfillment in providing that same companionship to other homes! We cherish each of our dogs and puppies, and we do everything we can to make sure that they get the best lives possible. That includes everything from choosing healthy parents with good temperaments, to proper socialization and daily care, to placing them in loving homes with wonderful families. We strive to provide each of our puppies and their families with a truly positive experience!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We fell in love with the breed after getting our first Aussie, Joanna. It was our desire to share and educate others about the breed and breeding process. We value our good practices and enjoy every moment of matching families with their puppy.

  • What makes your program special?

    Our goal is to match people with the puppy that is right for them-even if that means they do not purchase a puppy from us. We interview and analyze each home situation and encourage a minimum of one puppy visit prior to a puppy being picked for purchase.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Kathleen

Kathleen has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $400 deposit and between $450 - $2,100 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Price includes first vet check, vaccination and UTD on worming. Puppies also have tails docked and dew claws removed. Puppies will go home with a puppy kit which include all AKC paperwork and a generous sample of puppy food. Pet Price is $850; breeding rights available only to approved programs at the price of $2500. deposit is refundable and transferable; may hold deposit for future litter if desired puppy is not available in the current litter. Deposit ONLY holds your place in picking order as puppies are picked in the order of which I receive deposits.”

Contract & health guarantee

Kathleen may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
