I'm April H., the breeder behind HERRPOMS located in Buffalo, NY. Hello, my name is April Herr. I am a small AKC pomeranian breeder in Buffalo NY. I love the breed and want to provide pomeranian lovers with a healthy well socialized puppy. I currently have 5 dogs in home. My dogs are treated like family and provided with the love and enrichment all dogs deserve.
Q. & A. with April
Why did you start breeding?
I have had pomeranians sense 2007. My first pet was a red pomeranian named Baby. I fell in love with the breed and you can never just have one. After the passing of my last pet pomeranian named Bear. I wanted to get into owning multiple pomeranians and learn the breed through show confirmation and breeding. My dogs give me purpose and I enjoy my life with them. I want to provide owners with a perfect example of the breed and new best friend.
What makes your program special?
I only have a small pack of dogs in my home. Each pomeranian gets individual attention. All are provided with love and care. Bred traditional colors and exotic colors with AKC registration. All dogs are vet checked, dewormed, utd on vaccines and microchipped before going to new home.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include orange, cream, black, chocolate, chocolate merle, orange sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
