I'm Elizabeth H., the breeder behind Heyne Kennels located in Mount Orab, OH. Our dogs are bred for family pets, they are part of our family and we want to share that with potential clients. They are raised in our home.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I have always loved the breed. I got my first doberman 1994 and wanted to produce quality puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

    We raise our babies in home and they are loved on by kids and other animals daily!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and rust, blue and rust, fawn (isabella) and rust, and red and rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Elizabeth

Elizabeth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $400 non-refundable deposit and between $1,100 - $1,600 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Dilated Cardiomyopathy 2 (DCM2), Dilated Cardiomyopathy 1 (DCM1), Deafness and Vestibular Syndrome of Dobermans, DVDobs, DINGS, von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
