Meet the breeder

I'm Rose L., the breeder behind Hickory Creek Labs located in At Henry, OH. Hi, my name is Rose Linn, owner of Hickory Creek Labs . For the past 6 years, I have been breeding stunning, show quality, blocky head “English” Labrador retrievers. Growing up with dogs all of my life, I have found that labs are truly the most gentle and loving dogs you will ever meet.

Q. & A. with Rose

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always loved animals especially dogs. growing up my parents breed boxer so I have always been around it. I knew I wanted to get into it, so at the young age of 12 I did a lot of research and found "English" Labs and fell in love.
  • What makes your program special?

What I feel sets me apart from most breeders is the fact that I'm so young. I care and love for these dogs like they are my best friend because they are. I look for the right home and if I don't feel this puppy is right for you I will tell you. I'm not in it for the money like some people. I'm in it so that way more people like me can grow up and experience life with a built in best friend!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
