I'm Joseph R., the breeder behind Hi-Crest Collies located in Edison, NJ. We have been breeding quality collies with conformation, health and temperament in mind for over 40 years. Our breeding program focuses on maintaining the unique characteristics specific to Collies while striving to produce puppies of superior health, temperament, and conformation. We are proud of our dogs and their puppies, and it is always our goal to preserve and better the breed with each litter.

    Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable merle and white, black white and tan, blue merle and white, and sable and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Joseph

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $250 refundable deposit and between $1,750 - $2,250 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes AKC registration papers, health and eye exams, pedigree, first vaccines and parasite control. A deposit will hold a puppy for you from what we have available, if for any reason when you come to see the pups and you are not happy with the pup available your deposit will be fully refunded.”

Contract & health guarantee

Joseph may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
