I'm James M., the breeder behind Hidden Bay Havanese located in Indian Harbour Beach, FL. We’re devoted to ensuring there are healthy Havanese puppies for others to enjoy and we do so by responsibly growing this incredible breed. We are home-based breeders dedicated to bringing healthy, loving, and high-quality Havanese into the homes and hearts of their forever families. We love our dogs and are passionate about raising our puppies to be the best family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding Havanese in the early 2000’s. We are part of a network of family breeders. We took a “puppy break” for a few years, but now we intend on having a couple of litters per year. We don’t do a lot of paid advertising so that means we are more likely to have puppies available that are 7 weeks plus of age. We also feel like it gives you the opportunity to have a better idea of the puppies appearance.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from James
James has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Includes Florida Health Certificate AKC registration paperwork First vaccinations Deworming Socialized in home AKC litter certicate. We will hold a puppy for a refundable deposit, once you are an approved home. The remaining balance is due on pick up. We make our deposits refundable or a carry over to a different litter. Keep in mind, we don’t have many litters. We also reserve the right to refund your deposit if for ANY reason without explanation. In the event of us determining a puppy buyer is not suitable later on, this exempts us from an explanation.”

James may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
