Meet the breeder

I'm Patricia C., the breeder behind Hidden Meadows Livestock LLC located in Missoula, MT. Our objective is to raise Border Collies that are great at their work, but also willing to settle in with the family at the end of the day. We place our puppies in homes that will be suited to their temperament and ability. Let's see if one of our puppies is a good fit for you!

Q. & A. with Patricia

  • Why did you start breeding?

We had people approaching us quite often wanting a puppy by Cruz, red merle male. His athletic abilities, disposition and good looks appealed to many. So we set out looking for just the right female.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are bred to work stock, compete in agility, SARS, therapy dogs, active family dogs... We work our dogs on livestock here at our ranch. Yet enjoy playing fetch or just hanging in the house with friends & family. We also choose to protrect the breed & this amazing lineage. Puppies are available on a spay/neuter basis. Full rights for breeding privilages is only available when buyers meet our qualifications.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Our puppies have rough coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include tri-color, blue merle, red merle, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
