I'm Melissa J., the breeder behind High Court Aussies - Plymouth Indiana located in Plymouth, IN. It all began with Duke, a rescue dog who I as a child, adopted from the local Humane Society. Since then, I have welcomed four more Australian Shepherds into my life, each one carefully chosen from reputable breeders who prioritize genetics, temperament, and health.
Q. & A. with Melissa
Why did you start breeding?
This breed has shown us the meaning of love, loyalty, and protection. We strive to share this joy with others and love the idea that others will enjoy the future benefits of loving descendants of our awesome four-legged family members.
What makes your program special?
Both the Dam and Sire are 100% purebred Australian Shepherds, genetically tested, and come from prestigious AKC Champion bloodlines. They've been thoroughly screened for 278 genetic conditions, and we are happy to share the results with you upon request.
Melissa's puppies are lovingly socialized with children and adults from birth, ensuring they are well-rounded and confident.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are red & white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
