I'm Johanna T., the breeder behind High Desert Aussies located in Bend, OR. At High Desert Aussies we raise AKC and ASCA registered Australian Shepherds. We've been breeding Aussies for show and sport for nearly 30 years. We love sharing our home and life with our wonderful dogs. Each member of our family spends hours with our puppies and adult dogs. We are invested in producing the healthiest, smartest and happiest Australian Shepherds we can!

Getting a puppy from Johanna

Puppy prices include a $200 refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $1,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Animal Genetics Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
