I'm Micaila F., the breeder behind High Prairie Canines located in Amherst, CO. It is our goal to improve the genetic lines of the Labrador breed. We strive to better the breed one puppy at a time with behavior-shaping, health testing, and ENS—increasing their resilience to disease/stress factors and round them into good-minded, well-adjusted partners.

Why did you start breeding?
What makes your program special?
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Where do your breeding dogs live?

Micaila has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

"Each litter has a set price per puppy regardless of gender or color. This price includes AKC application, health certificate, 26 month guarantee, 1st vaccinations, age appropriate deworming, vet exam, and dewclaws removed. Each litter incurs costs to market and promote. Each applicant takes time and resources to vet and match to their puppy. This deposit covers those costs."
Micaila may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Micaila offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Micaila directly.
