Meet the breeder

I'm Tanya S., the breeder behind High Quality Labrador Retrievers and French Bulldogs located in Penn Valley, CA. Our dogs are bred for health and temperament with focus on companionship, athleticism and intelligence. We are committed to providing families with well rounded family pets.

Q. & A. with Tanya

  • Why did you start breeding?

Dogs have been a lifelong passion. It all started as a child breeding, training and showing with my Mom and now as an adult it has evolved to my own home breeding program.
  • What makes your program special?

Our dogs are all DNA/health tested prior to breeding. Puppies are hand raised within our home. Enrichment and training begins around 3 weeks of age. Puppies are paired accordingly with families giving them the best outcome for a long happy healthy life.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, chocolate, and yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.

Tanya was by far the best breeder I have ever got a pup from. The care these pups receive before and even after they are whelped is just heartwarming. It’s a beautiful thing to know my baby Kiki( pepper) was taken care of and loved before she came to us. There is a huge difference when a puppy is raised from whelping to 8 weeks when they aren’t loved vs loved like how Tanya and her family did. My baby is so obedient, full of energy, and most importantly healthy. I couldn’t thank Tanya enough, she gave me my baby daughter, and yes we literally take her everwhere. She eats in n out with us and lovessssss the beach and the waves❤️❤️ she’s a huge energy ball but when it’s time to crash out she’s just the sleepiest most cuddliest baby ever

Tanya was amazing! She was so kind and patient in asking all my questions and never made me feel like I was stupid in the questions I was asking. She was so helpful whenever I needed her. You can tell she absolutely cares for the pups and would do anything for them. She made sure our pup Moose would be going into a loving home and that’s exactly where he is! He has made me and my fiancé’s life a thousand times better!! Thank you Tanya!
