Why did you start breeding?
I had always been interested in hopefully starting an ethical program one day but I was never sure what breed was my breed. That was until Hazard fell into my hands. I knew from the moment I met him that this was my calling.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include rough and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, blue merle, red merle, white and blue, and white and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Acalia has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Acalia partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“I take matching puppies into consideration as soon as they a born. I watch them develop and grow and by 6/7 weeks when temperament testing is completed I know exactly what home fits what puppy! All my current families have been so happy with the puppy they’ve been matched with! ”

“This price grantees ABCA and or AKC registration, first round of shots and deworming. All puppies are the same price regardless of color and gender.”

Hazard is a male Border Collie over 5 years old. Carefully selected as a great representative of his breed, Acalia decided to make him part of their program. Acalia has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
DNA Disease Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
