Meet the breeder

I'm Jodi T., the breeder behind High West Aussies located in Pendleton, OR. Our family started raising Aussies because we loved what a wonderful breed they are! We are a small breeding program so we take pride in producing the best in all categories, temperament, ability, conformation, and health. Our goal is to have happy families with happy healthy puppies!

Q. & A. with Jodi

  • Why did you start breeding?

I lost my sweet friend Blou. He was a beautiful blue merle. Blou was my Inspiration for starting High West. I wanted to bring the love and companionship he had given to me to others. He gave me purpose with the passion to breed for the best in quality, temperament, and ability. It's a high standard to fill, but worth it all when they turn out as incredible and stunning as Blou was!
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small breeding program that allows us to tailor to the specific needs and care of the dogs as well as breed for the best in temperament, conformation, and ability. Our goal is to have happy families with happy healthy puppies!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include black, red merle, blue merle, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
