I'm Laurie and Beth V., the breeder behind Highland Hills Mini Aussies located in Marion, MI. We are Mother and Daughter breeders who enjoy raising Mini Aussies. Our focus is on raising puppies with clear generics, with calm dispositions & are loyal companions. We’re confident that our puppies will become perfect family members & add just as much joy to your life as they have ours!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red & white, black & white, blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Laurie and Beth

Laurie and Beth has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $100 non-refundable deposit and between $800 - $2,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price includes a contract, health guarantee, deworming, first 2 sets of vaccines. Records. ASDR registration forms, socialization, litter and or pad potty training. Puppies come with a goodie bag. Deposit is nonrefundable but can be moved to another puppy or the next litter.”

Contract & health guarantee

Laurie and Beth may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • DNA Disease Panel, Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Hereditary (Juvenile) Cataracts (HC; JC)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

    We loved working with Laurie and Beth, they responded timely and were so flexible as far as travel arrangements went because we were coming from out of town. They answered any and all questions we had, along with making sure the puppy we picked was the one we absolutely wanted.
