I'm Kathy C., the breeder behind Hill Side Farms located in Rock Island, TN. I have been involved with labs for more than 25 yrs. We are a small show hobby kennel. We only have a litter or 2 a year. We work to produce healthy quality English labs that meet breed standards. Our goal is to produce a life long companion for family’s.
Q. & A. with Kathy
Why did you start breeding?
I got into breeding after seeing so many labs being bred brought into clinic not health tested, not socialized and I felt a need to breed the health tested socialized lab.
What makes your program special?
My breeding program is special first all dogs are completely health tested before breeding. I also base their personalities and what they will pass on to make great family members. Also all are born and raised inside of our house, exposed to different noises, other dogs and cats and children.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
