We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Shetland Sheepdog puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! We care so much about each of our dogs and make sure to find our puppies the perfect families and individuals with lifestyles that will complement this amazing breed.

What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include sable merle and white, black and white, sable and white, and black white and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Cathy
Cathy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Cathy partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“In the initial screening interview I ask potential puppy parents what they are looking for in gender and color. But we also discuss their lifestyle and activity level and personality and temperament that they are looking for. Once I know these things, we try to make a match that combines everything considered and get as close to perfect as we can. I will say that this breed is very adaptable to their people, especially if it is a young puppy when the transition is made.”

“I require a $550 nonrefundable Deposit to hold a puppy. The reminder of the balance is due at time of pickup.”

All I can say is “wow!” Let me start with the communications aspect. Cathy was amenable to various forms of interaction, which is perfect for me since I have lots of work meetings and need to text. We also enjoyed an in-depth and pleasurable phone conversation during which we not only discussed our new good girl, but got on like old friends. Cathy has a way of being able to communicate with folks from all walks of life she age ranges. She was also wonderfully adaptive to our schedules and met us with our new puppy Flash versus us having to drive to her. Now, let’s talk about this amazing dog. She is SCARY SMART 🧐. She is gentle 🥹. It has been such a pleasure to buy a puppy from Cathy Cutchins of Hill Top Shelties. She was so helpful in making this an easy experience and her puppies are adorable.
