Q. & A. with Xiomara

  • Why did you start breeding?

My first cocker was a bad experience , but that didn’t keep from learning what a good cocker should be .From there on I seek the help of Ted Young who referred me some local breeders and purchased my first show dogs CH.Hillside’s Sir Lancelot , Mr. Young also helped me find my foundation bitch Hillside’s At Last Adriana and 43 years later all of my breeding come from her in 9 generations.
  • What makes your program special?

That I breed healthy dog to healthy dog and not before 2 years of age . I don’t mass produce and seek the dogs that fit my female rather than the flavor of the month and adhere to the standard as sporting dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
