I'm Bobby Brian L., the breeder behind HillTop Brittany Kennel located in Elko, GA. Home of the Dual Dog! Recognized as AKC Breeders of Merit and AKC Bred with the HEART program. I have raised Brittanys for over 25 years. My family activity trains, guides, and shows Brittanys. My dogs are part of my family. We train our dogs for hunting, obedience, and conformation. All of my Brittanys have an AKC Title or are working toward a title. We look to produce a better Brittany with each breeding. I am an active member of the Mid Florida Brittany Club. We show and field trial our Brittanys all over the Southeast. We also guide quail hunts with our Brittanys. Our sires and dams undergo in-depth health testing prior to producing offspring to guarantee we are doing our very best to produce strong, healthy puppies that will grow old with you. Brittanys are not all created equal. After experiencing the incredibly intelligent, extremely sensible, and highly trainable nature of our puppies, you will sincerely appreciate the distinction of owning a HillTop Brittany as your newest companion. When it comes to the quality of our adult dogs, we remain firm on the fact that life is too short to settle for a mediocre dog. Please select a breeder that plans for each litter.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    We look to produce a better Brittany with each breeding. All parents are health screened by OFA.org. We screen for hips, elbows, patella, cardiac, and eye screenings on most of our dogs. Please do your research to make sure a puppy's parents have had health screenings. If you are looking for a versatile dog that can be a companion dog, show dog, obedience dog, and hunting dog, you have found the right place. My bloodlines have the who's who in Brittany bloodline.

  • What makes your program special?

    All parents are hip screened by OFA with passing scores of good or excellent and negative for hip dysplasia. We also screen for OFA elbows, cardiac, patella, and eye screenings on most of our dogs. Please do your research to make sure a puppy's parents have had health screenings. Puppies that have parents that have titles from many different areas from the AKC are well-rounded puppies. We microchip before going to their furever home. We also vaccinate our puppies every 2 weeks and we also vaccinate against Canine parainfluenza Bordetella ( kennel cough)

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Brittany puppies include orange and white and liver and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    From the moment I started interacting with HillTop, I have been continually impressed. I loved watching my puppy grow up with the YouTube videos and the updates Bobby would send. I have had my beautiful Brittany for three weeks now and while having a puppy is not easy, I would imagine that I would not have an easier one than this one!     Bobby Brian was very responsive to all of my questions and made arrangements for pick up at his residence, which was completed with ease. We are 10 days into our life journey with “Finn”. He is already sitting on command and is mastering the “Come” command and enthusiastically enters his crate on the “In” command. He sometimes goes in on his own! We are still working on some potty accidents, but he is progressing well. He is an intelligent, inquisitive puppy. We are happy to have worked with Bobby Brian.
