I'm Casi K., the breeder behind Hilltop Kennel LLC located in Marshfield, MO. We bred our dogs to be healthy, friendly family pets that can adapt to any family. We strive for them to social. We enjoy seeing the families excitement when they get their puppy. We know a good foundation is important in anything, so our puppies are started on a good learning foundation as well.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up raising dogs and now that we have 4 children of our own, we wanted then to experience the joy and work ethic raising puppies can bring. We homeschool and this gives lots of opportunities for our children to learn.

  • What makes your program special?

    It's a full family thing. We are all involved every step of the way. Our dogs and puppies get lots of attention. Our puppies go home with a solid foundation of beginning training knowledge. We are here for lifetime support! We have a 2 year health guarantee that backs our puppies!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Dachshund puppies are cream. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Getting a puppy from Casi

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    I decided to get my second dog from Casi because she seemed like she took very good care of them before it was time for me to get my puppy. She exposed them to sound, kids played with them, they had time outside, and had cage time. I appreciated that she went above and beyond with all of these things and I felt that my puppy was ready to be without her littermates too. She was also amazing with sharing info and pictures whenever I asked! When I want to get another mini dachshund I will go to Casi!

    Casi always responded really fast and answered all of my questions. She sent weekly updates about our puppy. Our puppy (aka Jessie), still deciding on a name, is such a sweet girl. You can also tell they worked on her sit because whenever we have food for her she sits down so fast. Obviously she gets excited and plays a bit too but she knows what to do after we don't give it to her right away. They also sent home a bag with different supplies. I would definitely recommend them.
