Meet the breeder

I'm Barry F., the breeder behind Holly and Handsome located in Moreno Valley, CA. At Holly & Handsome, we have returned to Labrador Retriever breeding and building our reputation as a trusted Dog Breeder in Southern California since we bred our first puppies back in 2000. Our breeding stock are from AKC Grand Champion Lines and are OFA/CHIC certified as shown in AKC Pedigree page. They are Show Quality English Labs. We strive to ensure the health, safety and well-being of our dogs and puppies. Having CHIC certified parents, our pups are healthy, structurally sound and great looking Labradors. Here we find joy in helping folks find their perfect new fur baby. A link to daily pictures and videos of the puppy litter is shared upon deposit so you can start bonding before they arrive. We also give access to dozens of puppy tips. We don't ship but have personally delivered as far as Northern California.

Q. & A. with Barry

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been passionate about the well-being of animals. I wanted to put my passion to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small-scale breeder, allowing me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and Breedings the proper care and attention they each deserve by only breeding 1 or 2 litters a year. I am dedicated to providing happy, healthy, and well-socialized pups for others to welcome into their family. I love my pups and know you will love them, too!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
