Meet the breeder

I'm Barry F., the breeder behind Holly and Handsome located in Moreno Valley, CA. We are a small, dedicated breeder producing only 1–2 litters per year. Our focus is on quality, not quantity. Our English Labrador Retrievers are AKC registered OFA certified, and CHIC certified, ensuring the highest standards of health and conformation. Why Choose Our Labradors? Calm, loving temperament true to the breed standard Structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing DNA-tested parents to eliminate hereditary diseases Carefully selected studs and females for optimal health and beauty Because of our rigorous screening and commitment to excellence, our puppies inherit these qualities—giving you a healthy, loyal companion for a lifetime. We specialize exclusively in breeding high-quality yellow English Labradors, maintaining a dedicated focus on the classic traits and temperament of this specific color variety. Here we find joy in helping folks find their perfect new fur baby. We don't ship but have personally delivered as far as Northern California. Join Waiting List for next litter in August 2026.

Q. & A. with Barry

  • Why did you start breeding?

I have always been passionate about the well-being of animals. I wanted to put my passion to good use! It's been a joyful commitment, and it is a pleasure to live with, work with, and share with others these wonderful dogs.
  • What makes your program special?

We are a small-scale breeder, allowing me to give each of my puppies, dogs, and Breedings the proper care and attention they each deserve by only breeding 1 or 2 litters a year. I am dedicated to providing happy, healthy, and well-socialized pups for others to welcome into their family. I love my pups and know you will love them, too!
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Working with Barry was an absolute pleasure. From answering our questions to making arrangements, arranging delivery and keeping us posted with photos and videos of our puppy, everything was handled completely smoothly and professionally. As first time dog owners this made our experience worry and anxiety free and distinctly memorable. Our puppy Lisa is absolutely gorgeous, delightfully playful, gentle tempered and is now the new center of our lives. Thank you, Barry!
