Our focus is to produce the best dogs of the highest quality so that other families can also enjoy the love of a dog. Our dogs are members of our family and are right by our side for daily life. Why did you start breeding?
My husband and I both grew up around dogs and our best friends were breeders. We fell in love with every litter of puppies they had and that's what started our program and our love of breeding!What makes your program special?
We breed for a purpose. We breed to produce happy, healthy, and loving puppies. Our daughters adore every litter we have and they help raise them like we are keeping all of them ❤️What are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies have longhaired coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include piebald, cream, brindle, blue and tan, fawn (isabella) and tan, black and tan, chocolate and tan, and dapple. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Julie partners with them to find the best puppy match.

“Our prices range differently for our Miniature Dachshunds. Our deposits are nonrefundable unless death occurs in our care. We have been lucky to have not experienced that yet, and hope to never experience it, but, it is fully refundable if it were to happen.”

I would highly recommend HomeGrown Hoosier Dachshunds! From the moment we expressed interest in our puppy, Julie was very prompt at answering all our questions and did everything possible to make us comfortable. You can tell just by talking to her how much her and her family love the breed. Our girl, Sonny, is confident, sweet, and incredibly smart! She started sleeping 8 hours at night in her crate within a week. She also came pretty potty trained already, and has had minimal accidents. Julie is always there to provide support and we are so glad we chose HomeGrown Hoosier Dachshunds.
