  • Why did you start breeding?

    I grew up helping my mom raise Jack Russell’s and miniature Dachshunds, so it’s been a passion of mine for a long time. My best friend introduced me to the wonderful toy/mini Australian Shepherd breed. I immediately fell in love with this beautiful, highly intelligent breed!

  • What makes your program special?

    Our commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience; and that includes always having responsible practices when it comes to breeding, training, and rehoming our puppies. Our love for this breed is reflected in the personal touch we put into making sure the addition of your new puppy is a truly joyful experience.

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include tiny and miniature sizes. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Australian Shepherd puppies include red merle, blue merle, black tri-color, and red tri-color. Miniature Australian Shepherd puppies include blue merle, black tri, red tri, and red merle. Toy Australian Shepherd puppies include black tri, blue merle, red merle, and red tri. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Afton

Afton has been certified by Good Dog's screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you're ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Afton partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

"Our prices vary depending on size, quality, and color. It also depends on whether or not the new owner wants breeding rights (only available on select puppies). We accept pre-deposits once a litter is confirmed. It is non-refundable, but always transferable to another litter, if nothing is born to your liking."

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.     Such a great experience! I am so grateful to have found my little boy, Sirius Black. Afton was so wonderful to work with throughout the process. She responded within a few minutes of my initially reaching out to her, and this responsiveness continued over the next few weeks until Sirius was ready to come home with me. She sent me pictures each week chronicling his growth. He is the tiniest, feistiest, and smartest little thing. He is adorable with his tiny light blue eyes. He is only 9 weeks old, but he is pretty much already housebroken. He alerts me when he needs to go to the bathroom and knows to go immediately upon being taken outside. He comes when I call his name. He had no problem adapting to his new home and interacts so well with our other pups. And, most importantly, he had no problem acclimating to his crate, and he has slept through the night from day one! It has been effortless to work and live with him. Afton and her children clearly loved and nurtured him while he was in their care.
