I'm Joni O., the breeder behind Honeydew Ranch located in Sultan, WA. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. We fell in love with the breed because of the personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them.

Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding my horses, which eventually turned into miniature horses when I was getting to old to ride. I turned several of my minis into Multiple World Champions. I had always wanted another lab I loved the Chocolate labs. After a long search I found a suitable female and male which started my dog breedingWhat makes your program special?
My program is special, because of all the hands-on training they learn here at HoneydewRanch. I don't rehome my retired dogs they are my family. We will only have a few more Raya litters and the labs will be retired. At that time full attention will be on our Dachshunds & horsesWhat are the different breed sizes in your program?
Our Dachshund puppies are miniature size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Getting a puppy from Joni
Joni has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
After buyers complete the application and screening process, Joni partners with them to find the best puppy match.
“I like to speak to each family interested to see if we are on the same page as how to raise a puppy. I am here for my clients indefinitely, I will always be available for questions etc. daily video chats and or pictures once you have selected a puppy”
Price
“AKC registration, early puppy care vaccinations, worming’s and Microchip. We puppy sit for our clients if they are close and we are always available for any questions. Each case would be looked at individually. We want to keep our clients happy.”

Litter update on 01 Aug •…This is the puppy food that will be mixed with water to make it soft for a week then will wean down to regular kibble I still have puppies available. Please message me. Tot’s beautiful girl is available 2 boys & 2 girls from Calla’s litter

Litter update on 01 Aug •…TOT had 1 beautiful smooth hair female. I like to keep them until 10 weeks to make sure their immune system is working well and they have been weaned for a couple of weeks. Moms usually slow down on nursing the pups at about 6 weeks and that is happening now. I live in WA state if you are close I allow visits, plus video chats when I am home Don’t let her slip away to someone else’s home

Litter update on 28 July •…The pups are all growing and mom’s are so caring and they really love ❤️ them. I feel like we breed a very nice puppy. My sire is mine. His name is Rye, he is a long hair brindle and just the sweetest guy. I have to choose the litter So TOT has the larger pups 🐶 Calla had 5 super color & Marian’s growing fast

Litter update on 23 July •…Pups are walking and playing. We are doubling the size of both boxes so they have more rooms to run around Next we will set up a big play pen in the family room and allow them to be around the labs and the older weiners. Also we are in the Family Room a lot more so noise etc and it’s easier when potential families come and visit

Program update on 22 July •…These pups are starting to to get personalities, they grow so fast. I can tell on most of the pups long or smooth hair I made a mistake on Tot’s litter the Brindle/dapple is male and the dark shaded red is female. Not sure how I did that

Calla is an excellent mama. She is a Chocolate Piebald. The sire Rye is a cream Brindle I know I have 2 Piebald Puppies, the colors are unusual to me so I am waiting to announce colors

Joni was very nice to work with. She takes real good care of her puppies. They are well socialized with people and other dogs. She is keeping in touch with me. She also said I can board my puppy with her at a very reasonable price when needed. Thank you Joni for a beautiful puppy both physically and personality wise.
