I'm Joni O., the breeder behind Honeydew Ranch located in Sultan, WA. We are committed to always responsibly breeding with the best interest of our puppies’ health and longevity at the forefront. We fell in love with the breed because of the personality. There’s hardly a better feeling than being able to share them with other families that will love them.
Q. & A. with Joni
Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding my horses, which eventually turned into miniature horses when I was getting to old to ride. I turned several of my minis into Multiple World Champions.
I had always wanted another lab I loved the Chocolate labs. After a long search I found a suitable female and male which started my dog breeding
What makes your program special?
My program is special, because of all the hands-on training they learn here at HoneydewRanch. I don't rehome my retired dogs they are my family. We will only have a few more Raya litters and the labs will be retired. At that time full attention will be on our Dachshunds & horses
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Labrador Retriever puppies are yellow. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Joni was very nice to work with. She takes real good care of her puppies. They are well socialized with people and other dogs. She is keeping in touch with me. She also said I can board my puppy with her at a very reasonable price when needed.
Thank you Joni for a beautiful puppy both physically and personality wise.
I would post a picture but don’t know how!
